The South Korean army “surveillance has increased and maintaining the preparation position in close cooperation with the United States,” the joint bosses said.
The annual joint exercises of the South Korea, which are known as “Freedom Shield”, were scheduled to begin on Monday and run until March 21, according to the United States Army.

The training together with the South Korean soldiers will include urban combat, field hospital operations, field artillery exercises, air assault training and aerial defenses, said the army in A statement Mondays.
