At least 6 injured in Colorado Springs shooting: Police

According to the police, at least six people were injured on Saturday night in a shooting in Colorado Springs, Colorado, during a discussion among multiple individuals.

At least a victim was hospitalized in critical condition, while others injured in the shooting were in stable condition, according to a Online statement Sunday morning from the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Arrests have not been announced.

The shooting occurred just after 11 pm local time in a neighborhood northeast of the Springs Colorado Center, according to the police. Several calls from 911 reported a “disturbance that involves shots,” according to the police statement.

“When the officers arrived on the scene, they found several people with gunshot wounds,” police said.

Four victims of shooting were taken to hospitals by ambulance and two reached emergency rooms in personal vehicles, police said.

“At this time, this seems to have begun as an argument among several people leading to shooting,” said the police statement.

Researchers are still working to determine that all the victims of the shooting have been accounted for and ask any person with information about the incident to communicate with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
