During the immigration raid, the secretary of the DHS, Noem, says that the ice brings ‘consequences’

The Secretary of National Security, Kristi Noem, said that the application of immigration and customs of the United States is presenting “consequences” during the raids in Virginia on Tuesday.
“There are consequences,” said Noem, who was present during the preoperation report. The raids were assisted by the FBI, the drug control administration and the alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosive office.
ABC News senior political correspondent, Rachel Scott, covered the raids on the scene. The second operation saw agents stop a man that officials said they had been convicted of sexual assault. The man, they said, had been deported twice and returned to the country illegally.

Two minors and an uncle were also present at the assaulted residence, authorities said. The agents said the uncle is undocumented and told him to become immigration authorities in two days.
When asked what would happen to the two minors, Noem told ABC News: “We do not know what other family members have, that’s why they have two days to locate them and make sure these children are with someone in their family who believe they will keep them safe and give them a better example.”
Pushed to the probability that the family separates, Noem said there are “consequences”, adding, “and we are giving time to leave these children with another person.”
