An hour later, they had not yet moved with the protesters who were mocking them and mocking them, but behind them, the Swat teams of the Sheriff of Los Angeles had moved to the scene in armored cars with sound cannons and portable barriers. The LapD cruises and suburban closed the ranks behind them, effectively sealing the street.

They moved as if they were in a military exercise of the size of a brigade, taking the high ground of the garage, flooding the lower floors with the officers and pours from alleys and side streets. It was a movement of tweezers that sent some of the protesters to disperse. They shot many rounds and less lethal flash blows. Everyone moved back.

Temple de los Angeles Street had dozens of cruises and hundreds of officers. Dozens of additional cruises were also seen on Alameda Street with hundreds of officers.
