In Win for Trump, House is closely the effort to recover $ 9B of the budget, including cuts to public transmission and use the Usaid
In a great victory for President Donald Trump, the Chamber led by the Republicans approved little request from the White House to recover $ 9 billion of the federal budget, including financing of foreign aid and public transmission.
The final vote was 216-213.
Trump requested the cuts, which include significant reductions to the Corporation for Public Transmission and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), formalizing some of the cuts made by the Efficiency Department of the Elon Musk Government by hitting $ 9.4 billion of the previously approved federal budget.
Two Republicans in the Chamber voted against the measure: representatives Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Mike Turner of Ohio.
The measure is now heading to Trump’s desk for the firm.
The president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, celebrated the approval of the termination package of $ 9 billion and said that additional termination invoices would approach.
“This is not the end, it is the beginning,” he said.
The camera passage came a day after the Senate approved the measure little.
The vote in the Senate was 51-48 with the sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voting with the Democrats against the draft termination law.
Several Republicans representing states with rural communities, such as Murkowski from Alaska and Mike Rounds from South Dakota, have expressed concern about the cuts to the public transmission that could affect the ability of certain communities to access emergency alerts.

The final vote in the Senate occurred after an hour and a long -term and slow voting session, or a marathon voting session, during which the Democrats offered numerous amendments to the bill. Most of the democratic amendments focused on trying to fight the cuts to both public transmission and global health in the bill.
The Senate process to advance the package began on Tuesday night when the Republicans advanced by little from the termination package with the help of the vice president of Vice President JD Vance.
Three Republicans crossed the hall on Tuesday night to cast votes against the bill after expressing concerns about the lack of details in the White House termination plan: Sens. Collins, Murkowski and Mitch McConnell.
