Live updates of Israel-Gaza: Netanyahu says that Israel ‘on the edge of a great achievement’
In a televised statement on Saturday night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a victorious tone, saying that Israel is “on the verge of a great achievement” and that he expects “in the next few days” can announce “the return of all our hostages, both living as dead, in a fall, while the IDF remains deep in the strip of Gaza.”
Netanyahu said: “In the first phase, Hamas will release all our hostages, and the FDI forces will be deployed again in such a way that the IDF will continue to contain all the territories that it controls deeply into the strip.”
