Man accused of buying explosives to attack the police in protests: DOJ

A Texas man has been accused for allegedly buying explosives who intended to use to attack the police during protests against the immigration application actions of the Trump administration in Los Angeles last week, according to the Department of Justice.

Grzegorz Vandenberg, 48, is supposedly bought The fireworks of a travel center in New Mexico, where, according to reports, he told employees that he had military experience of previous special forces and that he could make pipe bombs, according to federal prosecutors.

“Vandenberg informed the cashier who would travel to Los Angeles, California, so that the riots kill the agents of the law or government officials,” they say accusation documents.

Vandenberg also asked the employee to identify what fireworks in the store contained the greatest amount of explosives and invited them to join him “and his squad” who said he was waiting to meet him in California.

“Vandenberg bought six mortars containing 60 grams of weapons dust each, and 36 large fireworks,” says the complaint.

According to his worrying comments, the cashier finally followed Vandenberg out of the store and knocked his plate and alerted the police.

Vandenberg was arrested last Friday in Tucson, Arizona, according to judicial records.

“Directing the application of the law violently is not protest, it is a crime,” said US prosecutor of the New Mexico district, Ryan Ellison, in a statement. “Anyone who tries to harm officers or undermine public security will be responsible. Protecting the security of our communities and defending the integrity of legal manifestations are priorities, and those who cross the line towards violence will be rapidly processed and to the maximum of the law.”

He still does not have a lawyer to represent him.

More than 500 people have been arrested in Los Angeles since the protests broke out on June 6. The protests exploded after federal agents executed raid orders authorized by a federal los angels judge in four companies suspected of illegally use undocumented immigrants and falsify employment records, according to a criminal complaint.

The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, raised a touch of left for the first time after it was implemented on June 10.
