Trump describes the next summit with the Putin of Russia as ‘feeling meeting’

President Donald Trump prior to Monday his highly anticipated meeting with Vladimir Putin de Russia, saying that he has hopes of “constructive conversations”, but that does not depend on him to make a peace agreement.
Trump confirmed last week that he would sit with Putin in Alaska when his deadline imposed for Moscow to agree a high fire with Ukraine wine and came. No exact time or specific place for Friday’s summit has been announced.
“This is really a felt meeting, a little,” Trump told journalists in the White House information room, where he held a press conference on a federal acquisition of the Washington police force and the deployment of the National Guard to deal with, he said, with the crime and lack of housing of the city.
“I think if it weren’t for me, I wouldn’t even be talking to anyone else at this time,” Trump said about Putin. At the same time, Trump minimized the idea that Friday’s conversations will result in the end of the war in Ukraine.
“Let’s see what the parameters are, and then I’m going to call the president [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy and European leaders just after the meeting, “Trump added.” And I’m going to tell you what kind of treatment, I’m not going to make a deal. It does not depend on me to make a deal. “

Trump said Zelenskyy was not invited to be part of Friday’s meeting, but that he would call the Ukrainian leader first after to convey what was discussed. He said that if there is a “fair treatment”, it would reveal it to the leaders of Zelenskyy and Europe.
“And I can say: ‘Good luck, keep fighting’ or I can say: ‘We can make a deal,'” Trump said.
When Trump asked him how he will know if you can make a deal, Trump replied: “Because that’s what I do. I do deals.”
Trump refused to share details about what he would consider a fair agreement between Ukraine and Russia, but again suggested that there would be “some land exchanges.”
Trump said his goal was to establish an upcoming meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin or between him, Zelenskyy and Putin.
“I will be there if they need it, but I want to establish a meeting between the two leaders,” Trump said.
Zelenskyy requested more global pressure on Russia on Monday and said that Putin is not taking measures that would suggest that he is looking for peace.
“Putin is determined only to present a meeting with the United States as his personal victory and then continue acting exactly as before, applying the same pressure on Ukraine as before,” Zelenskyy wrote in X.
“Until now, there are no indications that the Russians have received signals to prepare for a postwar situation,” Zelenskyy added. “On the contrary, they are redistributing their troops and forces so that they suggest preparations for new offensive operations. If someone is preparing for peace, this is not what it does.”

Friday’s meeting will mark the first time Putin will be in the United States since 2015. Trump said Monday that he was going to “go to Russia” while arguing the summit, although he also praised the fact that Putin has come to the United States instead of the other way around.
“I thought it was very respectful that the president of Russia arrived in our country instead of going to his country or even a third party place,” Trump said. “But I think we will have constructive conversations.”
Trump continued to express frustration with Putin and Zelenskyy, and again said the war would not have begun if he were president. Trump had repeatedly stated in the campaign that would end the war within his first 24 hours in office, which later said it was an exaggeration. He described the conflict of years as “complex” with a “much bad blood”, but that would press Putin to continue peace.
“I’m going to talk to Vladimir Putin and I will say: ‘You have to finish this war. You have to finish it.’ And he was not going to get with me.
