The first lady Melania Trump made her first public comments of the second Trump administration on Monday afternoon, organizing a round table in support of the “Take It Down” law that intends to criminalize the publication of deep and non -consensual pornography and requires platforms to eliminate said content.
“It is a heartbreaking to witness young adolescents, especially girls, dealing with the overwhelming challenges imposed by malicious line content, such as deep falsifications,” Trump said.

Trump caught attention to a 15 -year victim of non -consensual fake images that was present at the round table, among other victims’ defenders.
In implying the Congress that prioritizes this law, which the Senate has approved but not the Chamber, the first lady also made a point to call the Democrats.
“I must admit that I hoped to see more Democratic leaders with us here today to address this serious problem,” he said. “Surely as adults, we can prioritize the children of the United States before partisan policy.”
Trump joined Senator Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, who is a sponsor of the bill and delivered opening comments, saying that “there is no more important problem for our first lady to support that protecting children online.”
President of the Mike Johnson house was also present.
