Trump states that Epstein’s archives are false, but many documents have been public for years

Despite the recent statements of President Donald Trump that former Biden officials managed files related to Jeffrey Epstein, many of the documents, including those who mention Trump and several prominent democrats, have been public for years.

The president, in a telephone interview in the real conservative voice America’s Voice on Wednesday, alleged without providing evidence that the Democrats and former officials expressed files related to the condemned financial and criminal dishonor.

“But you know, that was administered by the Biden administration for four years. I imagine what they put in the files, just as they did with others,” Trump said. “I mean, Steele’s file was a false total, right? He took two years to discover it for people, and all the things you mentioned were false.”

The demand for civil defamation that is the main basis of speculative theories about Epstein’s “list of clients” was presented by accuser Virginia Giuffre against Epstein associated Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015, and was resolved in 2017.

A substantial part of the defamation case registration was sealed during litigation in order to protect the privacy of third parties that were appointed in documents and deposits, but were not directly involved in the case or faced accusations not proven from irregularities.

The Miami Herald intervened in the demand established in 2018 to reveal records. Unrealing began on August 9, 2019, the day before Epstein’s death for suicide in a Manhattan prison and continued in stages during the next 4.5 years. The final document publication was in early 2024.

There were no new substantive presentations in the case after May 2017, apart from the motions related to the slowdown of the registration.

Other files that mention Trump, including some flight records of the Epstein pilot and Epstein’s addresses, which had multiple numbers for Trump and other members of his family, have been public for much longer than that. Some date back to civil litigation against Epstein after their first arrest in 2006.

Trump’s name was also included in additional flight records of Epstein aircraft that were made public in 2021 during Maxwell’s criminal trial.

None of the documents made public as part of those civil demands or Maxwell’s trial contains accusations of irregularities by Trump.

The names of several prominent Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton, also appear in the archives already public in several contexts. Clinton was not accused of any irregularity and has said through spokesmen that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. Others mentioned in the files have also denied irregularities.

Like now, there was unbridled speculation before the insult of the records of that case that these documents would finally reveal the so -called customer list.

What Giuffre revealed alleging that Epstein and Maxwell abused her and sent her to be abused by several prominent men. The records also showed Maxwell and all the defendants who denied the accusations. Because this case was resolved, none of that was tested at the trial.

Maxwell currently meets a 20 -year prison sentence for sexual trafficking and other crimes in relation to Epstein.

The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, defended on Thursday the management of Epstein archives administration, continuously directing questions about any additional action on Epstein’s case to the Department of Justice, claiming that Trump had no knowledge or an understanding of what has not yet been published.

Leavitt said Trump is not in favor of recommending a special prosecutor in the case of Epstein.
