Trump's liva updates: Trump orders troops to be sent to Portland

In an early position on Saturday, Attorney General Pam Bondi said he was “deploying DOJ agents to ICE facilities, and where ICE is nodded, to safeguard federal agents, protect federal properties and immediately arrest all people who participate in any federal crime.”

Bondi’s publication occurred when protesters faced federal agents outside the Chicago Ice processing center on Friday night.

Bondi cited what he called a “attack of violence perpetrated against ICE officers throughout our country,” for the decision.

Bondi added that “in accordance with the recent executive action of President Trump”, he would instruct the joint terrorism work forces to “interrupt and investigate all entities and individuals involved in acts of domestic terrorism, including repeated acts of violence and obstruction against federal agents.”

The Department of Justice, he said, “will seek the most serious charges available against all participants in these criminal mobs, including crimes of conspiracy, assault crimes, crimes of civilians and crimes of terrorism.”

“While these endless attacks are designed to break our will, they only strengthen our determination to complete the work initiated,” Bondi wrote. “The rule of law will prevail.”
